Kylee & Stephen are ENGAGED!

October 6, 2023 was a day full of so much excitement. The proposal plans had been in the works for months and I was honored to document all of it. When Stephen told me his vision for the proposal, I just knew that it was going to be the sweetest and most emotional day. The best part... SHE HAD NO CLUE! What Kylee thought was just a normal date night turned into becoming a fiancée!

The Awareness Gardens in Lynchburg, VA made for the cutest backdrop for Stephen to pop the big question. White roses, candles, and lights were everywhere (aka all of Kylee's favorite things). Once the spot was set and decorations were done, it was time!

I hid in a bush until just the right moment when Kylee & Stephen turned the corner and she saw the set up. Her reaction was PRICELESS. She thought it was someone else's proposal and not her own. Once she realized that there were K & S initials it set in that it was all for her. Then she said YES!

Right after, Stephen planned to have all their family come into town to celebrate at a party for them. It was truly the most intentional and joy filled day to document. It was a day that reminded me just how special this job is in capturing moments that will be cherished for generations to come.
